Located inside a quiet Portuguese village, there is a green tiled house, swallowed by the vegetation that grows year after year. A true time capsule, a relic that hides an incredible history. A property whose fortune was made in Brazil in the 19th century.
I love exploring, I really love it, it’s not just a hobby, but when they are houses belonging to Brazilians from Torna-Viagem, I’m especially fascinated by this type of house. They are called Torna-Viagem Brazilians, a name given to emigrants who made a fortune in Brazil, having returned to Portugal, where they built huge empires.
One of the curious points is that most of them became active agents of local development, using part of their fortunes for the benefit of the village and the region, building houses, schools, hospitals and other social projects.
I remember that I have previously explored houses owned by Brazilian Torna-Viagem and they are undoubtedly the ones I appreciate most, such as:
➡️ Quinta do Conde (12 Parts)
➡️ Casa Conrado (2 Parts)
➡️ Brazilian Mansion (7 Parts)
➡️ Royal House (6 Parts)
➡️ Abandoned Palace (2 Parts)
And now the Casa dos Brasileiros!
This certainly won’t be the last and this time I won’t skimp on parts and photographs. Explorations in 2022 and 2023, there will be a marked change in furniture and decorative accessories. Let’s start, once again, a trip to the past!
